Our Tourist Offer
Every Sunday between May 2 and October 3, 2026, the Tourisme Ferroviaire de la Brie Champenoise à l'Omois Association offers seats aboard its 1950s railcar for a train ride through the heart of the Brie Champenoise region, between Montmirail (51) and Artonges (02).
The ride is a round trip (2 x 8.72 km) between Montmirail station (departure point) and Artonges, at a speed of 20 km/h.

The ride, lasting 1h30 in total, includes commentary along the way. It includes a 15-minute stop of the Picasso railcar at the Villemoyenne halt, halfway through the return trip from Artonges, allowing a visit to an 1884 level-crossing keeper's house built by the Compagnie des Chemins de fer de l'Est.

In addition to the ride, you can visit the railway museum housed in Montmirail's former 1884 station. The museum features over 200 railway items displayed in the two waiting rooms of the passenger building and in the water tower that once supplied the steam engines. The museum visit can take place before or after the train ride.

For groups and associations booking the railcar on Saturdays, you may use the freight hall for a "cold buffet" style meal (catering available) or a picnic. Use of the hall is free of charge.
